Fletcher Miller, a Harvard-educated son of a wealthy Colorado ranch family, aspires to become the next governor of Colorado.  Never one to have much self-restraint or awareness of his limits, he lives a life with few morals, many excesses, and little regard for anyone who might derail his path. During a moment of intoxicated inattention, the trajectory of his campaign hits a roadblock. Teetering on the edge of ruin, his “fixer” and his wife must quickly act before everything spirals uncontrollably, ending his career and freedom.

Fletcher quickly discovers that those he trusted most will turn to preserve their own self-interests.  When authorities unearth the developing cover-up, he realizes that if elected, he’ll be owned.

What happens next sets the tone for an action-packed series plunging the viewer into the world of small-town politics, blackmail, romance, and murder.  The story lays bare a gripping tale of survival where trust is a rare commodity and the line between friends and enemies blurs into uncertainty.
